Astrid's Reflections
As we move further out of the restrictions of lock down this month, it will be natural to feel some apprehension. Through lockdown we have been confided to our homes, where we created a sanctuary, somewhere to feel safe, a cocoon. Having time to move inwards has been a blessing for some but not all. For me it gave me time for my mediation practice, journaling, reading, joying being with my family and for walks in nature, this has kept me grounded. Many inspirations came to me in this time, not in the way I expected, but creativity comes in many forms and I am grateful for this.
Nature is an inspiration not only in the wonder of the colours, textures and beauty that it holds but in how we can work and in moving forward with our lives as they unfold over the coming months. I have created a space where I share these inspirations, which reflect both our internal and external worlds, where inspiration manifests and also comes alive through creativity.
This moodboard captures the how the Oxford nightshirt works both perfectly outdoors as it does indoors, timeless style, versatile, easy to wear and feels amazing. this is the future of clothing. The classic blue and white stripe, is fresh and works well with natural textures, add a straw hat for the sun or inside you can pull a soft alpaca blanket over you for an extra layer of warmth.
